"We purchased our home in Gilford in 2012 and had been told by the prior owners that from time to time some “moisture” accumulated in the crawl space. However, during extensive renovations, various trades working in the crawl space reported quite a bit of water accumulation thee from time to time, especially after a rain storm. We responded to an ad for the Basement Authority (RWN Property Services). They sent a project manager who inspected the crawl space as well as the exterior of the house. He provided an excellent analysis of why we were having water intrusion. He suggested an additional roof gutter and extending the downspouts to carry rain farther away from the house, as well as a large automatic dehumidifier for the crawl space.
